Attendance at these workshops will provide you with the leadership guidance, educational training and industry knowledge necessary to help your booster club grow, expand and succeed.

 

No More Guessing! Minimize Risks – Liabilities

No more guessing!  Workshops are focused on helping root out problems and deficiencies with the goal of putting booster clubs squarely on the right path to compliance and best practices.

 

Ongoing Training & Support at ALL Levels

Every Booster Club in attendance is provided extended guidance and support for a period of up to 6 months from each workshop. Non WSBCA or affiliated state association clubs receive two consolation or support sessions via email or phone, with a trained booster club advisor. WSBCA member clubs receive unlimited consolation and support sessions via email or phone, with a trained booster club advisor, assigned specifically to their group.

Who Should Attend?

We provide two workshops: A 90-minute Admin-Overseer workshop for coaches, program directors, school and district administrators who are tasked with overseeing and working with booster clubs, and the 2-hour Booster Basics workshop for booster club officers and leaders.  Both workshops can also be conducted via Zoom.

The Admin-Overseer Workshop is open to all school and district administrators, coaches, program directors and overseers.  The Booster Basics workshop is open to all booster club and parent group officers, volunteers and those interested in supporting the growth of booster clubs and extracurricular programs.


How Long Do the Workshops Last?

On-site (in-person) Booster Basics workshop are 2 hours, with additional time allocated for an open floor Q&A session.  Zoom based Booster Basics workshops are 90 minutes, with additional time allocated for open floor Q&A session.

Workshops Schedule

Booster Basics Workshops are conducted throughout the year, and broken into two sessions; Fall and Spring. Attendees receive year-long support with a focus on insuring that booster clubs are following district, state and federal regulations and conducting activities with best practices to help minimize risks, liabilities and challenges – for ALL PARTIES!

 

Where Are Workshops Held?

Workshops can be conducted via Zoom, or on-site (in-person). Onsite, School-District sponsored workshops are typically held at the School or School District facility. On-site, Community based workshops are typically scheduled at facilities open to the general community, and workshops hosted by sponsors can be held either at the sponsors location or a location open to the general public.
